The National have confirmed details of their new album ‘Boxer’ which has been thirteen months in the making.
The follow up to the critically acclaimed ‘Alligator’ will be released on May 21 and features twelve tracks.
‘Boxer’ was produced by Peter Katis (Interpol, Spoon) and mastered by Fred Kevorkian (Ryan Adams, Regina Spektor, Willie Nelson).
The quintet will promote the album with a US tour and appearances at several European festivals which will be announced shortly.
Before then they will play seven live dates in New York, London, Paris and Berlin.
