Carl Barat: I'll Work With Pete Doherty Again

Carl Barat has said he’d be “happy to work with” Libertines bandmate Pete Doherty again.

Despite the pair spectacularly falling out in the latter days of the band, Barat has indicated the pair are now fully reconciled and will be writing music together again in the future.

He said in an interview with XFM this week, “We're doing different things, but at some point I'd be happy to work with Pete. Our relationship hasn't really faded away."

However, before that Barat will be releasing a second album with his new band Dirty Pretty Things,  which the singer and guitarist says he will be giving fans a sneak preview of for free by leaking it on the internet.

“It's not official,” he explains, “I haven't told the record company actually. I should've thought about that. Everyone downloads anyway, so it doesn't really make a difference."
