The Jesus and Mary Chain have announced details of a live show in the UK.
The recently reformed legendary outfit had previously only confirmed a show at the Coachella Arts and Music Festival.
They now also play at the Connect Festival in Invereray in Scotland on August 31.
Festival organiser Geoff Ellis said: "They were one of the first bands on my list really. As soon as I heard that they were reforming, and heard that they were in the studio and that they were going to do Coachella and I thought ' They would be perfect.'
"We've got them playing prior to the Beastie Boys on the Friday the 31st of August."
Also playing on the same night are CSS and King Creosote. Other acts playing over the three day event include Primal Scream, Bjork, LCD Soundsystem and Idlewild.
Geoff Ellis continued to 6music: "It’s a festival for 20, 000 people so, y'know, you're never going to see the likes of Red Hot Chilli Peppers or Muse or somebody of that size playing.
"But I think that’s part of the beauty of it that you've got bands that have got loads of back-catalogue, loads of credibility."
The Jesus and Mary Chain split in 1998 and announced their reformation in January.
The Connect Festival takes place from August 31-September 2. Tickets go on sale from 9am on Friday (March 31).
