With the obsessive followers of Gerard Way and his gloomy clan My Chemical Romance’s latest release is sure to fly off the shelves.‘I Don’t Love You’ has the just the right mix of angst ridden melancholy and sing-along choruses that make MCR one of the hottest tickets in town. Combining Green Day’s tunes with the pomp of The Smashing Pumpkins and big arena tours in the offing, some may accuse them of selling out but they have enough of their own unique imprint to pull it off. For these black-clad harbingers of doom, times are good, and if that doesn’t make them crack a grin, nothing will.
