The former publicist of the deceased soul legend James Brown has been denied an appeal of a sexual harassment case against the singer.
The US Supreme Court ruled yesterday that Jacque Hollander could not appeal after the case was originally dismissed in 2005.
Hollander alleged that Brown, who died on December 25, had raped her at gunpoint in 1988 and was eeking up to $106 million in damages.
According to the Associated press the original case was dismissed by a federal judge who said she had waited too long to file the case.
An appeals court held up that decision last year.
