Muse and My Chemical Romance have been forced to axe some joint US tour dates after members of their bands and crew were struck down with food poisoning.

Members of their entourage and My Chemical Romance band members became violently ill after a show in Virginia on Sunday evening (April 29).

Several people were treated in hospital, while others were too ill to work, forcing the bands to ditch two shows in Pennsylvania.

A show in Columbus, Ohio was moved from last night until tonight, on the basis that everyone will have recovered in time. Ticket refunds are available from the point of purchase.
