R Kelly is set to honour the victims of the Virginia Tech massacre by releasing a charity single.
The R & B megastar has donated his track ‘Rise Up’, which will be released as a digital download on May 15 Stateside.
All proceeds of the track will go to the Hokie Spirit Memorial Fund - set up to respect the 32 students who were murdered in the April 16 massacre.
‘Rise Up’ is lifted from R Kelly’s new studio album ‘Double Up’ which follows the single on May 29.
An excerpt of the track can be heard on Mr Kelly’s website now. Our advice is buy it, just don’t listen.
