Rockers Launch Keep Paris Hilton In Jail Campaign

Californian rock outfit The Exies have launched a campaign to keep Paris Hilton behind bars.

Last week it emerged that the attention seeking heiress may get her 45 day sentence for driving while banned halved for good behaviour and due to prison crowding.

The Exies’ frontman Scott Stevens from the outfit has launched a petition through their Myspace page. He is outraged with the proposed leniency towards Hilton and believes that she should be treated like any other person.

He said: "She [Paris] did something anyone would be punished for. She's no different than anyone else, and she needs a reality check and needs to take the hit like everybody else would."

Stevens continued that if Hilton does get her sentence reduced, he hopes to meet up with her, adding: "We have a show in mid-June at the Roxy in Los Angeles. Maybe she'll come to that and I can have a word or two with her."

Paris Hilton is due to start her sentence in early June.

Put her un jail and keep her there, I am so sick of people like her that think that because they have lots of money that it is their given right to do what they please and get away with it, Average joe would not even have the oppurtunity to plead for leniency . i dnt agree wiv tat comment on the top of page because she shud b allowed out like everybody else is and i like paris hilton because she always looks well and her songs r gd and i have gt hr perfum and it smells nice. If anyone hates her that means they are jealous of her.

I THINK SHE SHOULD BE IN JAIL FOR THE WHOLE TIME SHE WAS SENTENCED TO!!! MONEY AND FAME SHOULD NOT BUY FREEDOM!!! SHE IS NOT ABOVE THE LAW,SHE IS ONLY HUMAN!!! KEEP HER ASS IN JAIL AND DONNOT CUT THE SENTENCE IN HALF!!!! PARIS DESERVES WHAT SHE GETS!!! STUPID IS AS STUPID DOES!!!!!
