Tim Deluxe – ‘Let The Beats Roll’ (Skint) Released 21/05/07

With massive hits including 'It Just Won't Do' and 'Less Talk, More Action' to his name, Tim Deluxe is a man in demand, with a slew of remixes and production work to add to two solo outings.  'Let The Beats Roll' is the first single from his forthcoming Ego Death album, and in itself doesn't offer much to get excited about.  Overbearing guest vocals from the Audio Bullies' Simon Franks stamp his personality all over the track leaving it sounding like, well, an Audio Bullies album track. The Rennie Pilgrem Mix benefits from stripping parts of the vocal to create some breathing space, but while Deluxe is unarguably capable of great things, this isn't doing anything new.
