She Drew The Gun have unveiled the video for ‘Resister Reprise’ - a slice from their second album.

Kaleidoscopic synths and an industrial, charging guitar line compliment singer and guitarist Louisa Roach’s Wirral lilt weaving through the track as she sings, “maybe, eventually, we can make love not war”. The song is accompanied by an equally psychedelic music video which is available for your perusal, exclusively on Gigwise, below.

The James Skelly produced number was crafted at Liverpool’s Parr Street Studios alongside the rest of the album, Revolution of Mind, and it follows on from their debut record Memories Of Another Future which was released in 2016.

Detailing the new record, Louisa says the main theme is, “empowerment; resisting; arming yourself with knowledge; questioning the status quo, questioning your own state of mind and how its affected by the systems we live in.” The record also features echoes of Roach’s contemporaries - the likes of Kate Tempest, Nadine Shah and Courtney Barnett - as she explains, “I crave music that says something. Music that goes beyond simple love songs.”

Catch She Drew The Gun on tour when they support The Coral on all UK upcoming dates.
