If Matty Healy’s suggestive tweets are anything to go by, it looks like The 1975 could be about to play some very small London shows in the next couple of weeks.

On 27 October, a fan suggested to Dirty Hit label boss Jamie Oborne that the band should play Kingston indie club night New Slang - presumably after the band were unable to fulfil their gig there in 2015 due to illness and conflicting schedules made it difficult to rearrange  - and in response to Oborne’s retweet Healy said, “Yeah let’s do it and let’s do the Barfly in December.” Before continuing to tweet about "2 tiny shows before Christmas".

What date exactly their Camden appearance will be remains to be seen, however the singer has teased fans even further today by tweeting, “Getting ready for The Camden Barfly (Assembly)” alongside a photo of George Daniel's drum kit.

And as for New Slang, according to Banquet Records’ website the 29 November is going to be their biggest gig of the year although they’re “not sure when it's to be announced, so watch this space”.  Very suspicious indeed.
