Bring Me The Horizon have not only been announced as the fourth headliner for the 2019 All Points East festival, they’ve also confirmed that they’re the curating the line-up. It all takes place in east London’s Victoria Park on 31 May.

Bring Me The Horizon join fellow headliners The Chemical Brothers, Bon Iver and Christine And The Queens.

Somewhat amazingly, the gig will be Bring Me The Horizon’s first-ever festival headliner. Speaking of the event, Bring Me The Horizon’s frontman Oli Sykes said: “We are excited to be headlining our first festival in the iconic Victoria Park. It’s a privilege to be in the company of headliners like Bon Iver and Chemical Brothers and we are hoping to blow fans away with our carefully curated day of really special artists.”

Ah, yes… the curated line-up. So who have one of Britain’s premier heavy rock bands added to the bill? Step forward hip-hop heroes Run The Jewels. Famed for their socially conscious lyrics, they also welcomed Labour party leader Jeremy Corbyn to the Pyramid Stage at Glastonbury in 2017.

Following their own massive headline gig at the Alexandra Palace as well as honing their chops by touring with Muse and Twenty-One Pilots, Nothing But Thieves will be bringing their brand of alt.rock to the event.

Having dominated 2018, IDLES are set to only get bigger next year and their slot at All Points East should help them attain that position. Their second album, Joy As An Act Of Resistance has been showered with well-deserved hosannas while dragging punk out of its ghetto and to the masses.

Already lauded by Gigwise, Brighton’s Yonaka will be bringing their exuberant live show to the party. Bringing up the rear are Scarlxrd and their blend of trap and heavy metal.

Tickets go on sale at 9am on Friday 07 December here.
