German techno-disco types MIT have never recorded an English language song before, but it can't have been too much of a stretch given that the only line is Get in my good book. Squelching synth bass couples with cowbell and hi-hat-heavy drums to back up a yelping, urgent (if nonsensical) vocal to form a track which would sound great on the dancefloor at a trendy Berlin club, but you'd never in a million years stick on while you do the washing up. B-side 'Auf am Aus' meanwhile clocks in at 56 seconds and is apparently about ‘turning things off and on’. Light on profundity, then, but likely to soundtrack this summer's coolest raves.
Released 25/06/07 on Half Machine Records
