It’s another massive chorus for the London indie quartet

Hitting play on ‘Call The Night’, it’s difficult to believe Luna Bay remain an unsigned prospect – but the rate in which the quartet have amassed their impressive fanbase is no such surprise. With a chorus this infectious, the band will continue to draw in the loyal legions, and will undoubtedly outgrow the Scala, the London venue they are due to play in November.

It’s minimalistic, but it ticks all the boxes for an indie banger that will end up on reels and soundtracks. Opening cheesy synths give way to a longingly sung verse that bursts into the monolithic chorus. ‘Call The Night’ is a song that gets in and out with little messing around, but the lovelorn bridge sees it let up for a split second before crashing back into the hook. Having ended up on a handful of BBC Radio 1 and Spotify UK and US playlists with previous singles, you’d be a fool to bet against Luna Bay gaining further traction this time around, especially if they keep churning out choruses like this.
