It's the brilliant B-side to 'Right Round The Clock'

More about:

The grunge genius of Sorry presents itself again this morning with another taste of their hotly-anticipated debut album 925. 'Rock 'n' Roll Star' is another clever, unhinged track from the London duo, and the B-side to last month's 'Right Round The Clock'.

A Cramps-esque bassline and burring guitar intro show off Sorry's inventiveness in the studio magnificently, before the pinched vocals of Asha Lorenz and Louis O'Bryen enter stage right. The song skewers "washed up" rock stars and those who stay up all night with them. 'Rock 'n' Roll Star' arrives with a seedy video of Lorenz causing mischief as Elvis. See it and hear the track:

Album title 925 gets its mention in the new B-side, alongside a slew of typically-sleazy lyrics imbued with the same smartness that made 'Wished' and 'Showgirl' such great underground hits.

This new cut follows the "dramatic, dark piece of exceptional guitar work" that is 'Right Round The Clock'. The two songs are available to buy in conjunction on a 7" release, out now via Domino.
