Younger Hunger don’t want you to settle for less than you deserve. As a direct antidote, the California three piece have shared their latest offering of emo-tinged, sunkissed indie pop in the form of new single ‘Second Best’.

With its shimmering synth interludes and pop hooks punctuated by addictive guitar melodies and narrated by an emotional vocal, ’Second Best’ is relatable and truly listenable. It’s been written especially for those who feel like they’re an option, not a priority; if you’ve ever felt this way, press play!

The band realise that someone not loving you really sucks, as expressed by frontman Tony Davia: “Really loving somebody who puts you down in the pecking order is the worst.  This song is all about that, and if you feel the same, we feel ya…”.

Younger Hunger effortlessly weave themes of nostalgia and young adulthood into brilliantly listenable songwriting - you’ll find difficult to shake off their infectious guitar melodies. These good-time guitar boys from Orange County spend their days keeping their fanbase updated with their daily silliness on TikTok - a platform on which they’ve amassed over 2m likes - and making their shimmering indie-pop soundtrack, drinking margaritas and attempting world domination.

So, keep your pecker up, and get this on a continuous loop.
