An ambiguously seedy scene on the beach
Baxter Dury has released the seedy early morning video for his new single 'I'm Not Your Dog'. The atmopsheric sprechgesang electronic track is now joined by a dramatic visualiser that's every inch the night chancer of Dury's forthcoming album.
As Dury builds towards the release of his sixth LP The Night Chancers, he's getting in as much of that sexy 'n' sinister vibe as he can, staggering on the beach in a pale grey suit as blood spreads across his dusty pink shirt.
As a storm pulls in, Dury discards of a retro flip phone before heading to the sea in his loafers. See it and hear the new tune:
Of 'I'm Not Your Dog', Dury explains: "...It’s the strange area that is occupied by those who want to show themselves candidly on social media for example and by those who get caught believing that it’s ok to watch for too long. And all the innocent and less innocent misinterpretations that occur."
