The wonderfully-eclectic Kate NV has returned with her magical new single 'Sayonara'. It's an electronic pop odyssey for losing yourself in and counting the stars. She announces her new album Room with the Moon along with it.

Dramatic bass and sparse, 80s percussion partner anxious strings on 'Sayonara'. Soon, the song descends into a full-on alt-disco universe in which Kate NV seems to pay tribute to Kate Bush and - can you hear it too? - Cocteau Twins.

The accompanying monochrome video shows the musician making shapes on a shadowy background in her white performers' gloves.

Moscow-based Kate NV announces Room for the Moon today with the dramatic video for 'Sayonara' - the album's lead single. 

This will be her third album. She is also frontwoman for Russian band Glintshake.
