More about:

Gravel-throated Gigwise favourite Mark Lanegan has released a new single today. 'Bleed All Over' is another autobiographical track taken from his forthcoming album Straight Songs of Sorrow.

With a riff reminiscent of The Kills thanks to lo-fi percussion and sure guitar writing, 'Bleed All Over' joins together rock'n'roll with some eerie synth work. It's a great example of wounded rock writing updated with some thrilling modern touches.

Hear it:

Fifteen tracks on the forthcoming LP Straight Songs of Sorrow all focus on Lanegan's own life story, details of which you can also read in his new memoir Sing Backwards and Weep.
