More about:

Mark Lanegan shows no signs of letting up as one of rock music's most prolific workers. Today, he announces a collaboration with dark wave group IYEARA - last year's Somebody's Knocking LP will receive a complete reimagining and land again as Another Knock At The Door.

The announcement comes on the heels of "cinematic" new album Straight Songs of Sorrow. In an impressive one-two punch, Lanegan announcex his next project with the release of a new single: 'Playing Nero', remixed by IYEARA.

Once a delicate, emotional composition, the Somebody's Knocking single has become an industrual event with anxious, sublime synth and Depeche Mode-style percussion. It's tall and dark and handsome.

Hear it:

Another Knock At The Door is an album that sees all of 2019's Somebody's Knocking reworked and reimagined by IYEARA - a group comprised of The Duke Spirit's Toby Butler, producer Malcolm Carson and vocalist Paul O'Keeffe.
