More about:

Hayley Williams is really out to ensnare us with her solo project. Every song has been a strong statement from the Paramore vocalist, and latest release 'Over Yet' is no different. Dropped yesterday, the new pop triumph now has its own lyric video.

'Over Yet' is a quietly determined pop song in the vein of Williams' previous releases: a futuristic ode to overcoming personal issues and bossing it. With a total eighties pop chorus, Williams has hit the sweet spot with this latest drop.

Hear it and onboard those positive lyrics:

Williams has already knocked us flat with her solo releases 'Simmer' and 'Cinnamon' - 'Over Yet' is the sixth release to foretell the release of her debut solo album Petals For Armor, out in May, and we have very high hopes.

On Twitter - where Williams is particularly active - the artist wrote a thanks for the fan reception of the song, saying: "it’s such a scary moment to be living in. i was so grateful to be putting out music that felt a little lighter today and so glad people are into it. stay safe and stay cozy."

Petals For Armor arrives 8 May via Atlantic.
