We love a bit of pop. Everyone loves a bit of pop...if it's good that is. And Tally Spear's brand new gothic single 'Already Gone' certainly is. Sloping and dyed blood red, you can hear this new cut on Gigwise today before anywhere else.

Remember Pretty Little Liars? We can imagine this slow-slow-fast electronic ballad tracking one of its dramatic montages. Glamorous and gory 'Already Gone' twangs with nerve-tweaking electric guitars and shakes with bone-vibrating percussion reminiscent of Billie Eilish.

Composed with a pace that evokes a beautiful figure cutting their careful way through a nightime graveyard, this is a real gothic beauty. Listen first on Gigwise:

And the single isn't dark for no reason: it addresses fear of moving forward and trying new things. Change, after all, is truly terrifying.

"This track tackles feelings of detachment and distance. It's kind of the opposite of all the happy 'honeymoon phase' songs out there" Spear commented in a press note.

Spear has an EP out in the summer - produced by Declan McKenna collaborator Max Marlow. We await more brilliance with glamorous trepidation.
