More about: Film Noir
Joséphine de la Baume's dream pop garage band Film Noir have released a brand new single - and a video along with it. 'My Love' follows the release of the Kills-style 'Chateau D'eau' earlier this month. Both make up part of a new EP ou in June.
Where 'Chateau D'eau' showed "bluesy, atmospheric rock'n'roll" vibes, 'My Love' falls gently into a different category altogether. Keys and dream pop make cinema of a more contemplative temperament.
The accompanying video sees frontwoman de la Baume explore a verdant country scene, the perfect partner to this dreamy lullaby. It was filmed in lockdown with a series of head-spinning camera techniques.
'Chateau D'eau' was the first track plucked from Film Noir's upcoming EP Tendrément, out in June. 'My Love' is the EP's second single. Of course, they've been featured everywhere from L'Officiel to BBC Radio 6 Music - being a de La Baume certainly helps.
Tendrément arrives June 26
