More about:

Spoon have announced a massive series of reissues titled Slay on Cue. Classic albums from the band's discography will be made widely available on vinyl and CD for the first time ever. To celebrate, you can see a remastered video for single 'Small Stakes'.

A considerable chunk of the Spoon back catalogue will be returning to print this year via Matador Records - albums that will be getting the special treatment will be Telephono (1996), Soft Effects EP (1996), A Series Of Sneaks (1998), Girls Can Tell (2001), Kill The Moonlight (2002), Gimme Fiction (2005), Ga Ga Ga Ga Ga (2007) and Transference (2010).

On the project, frontman Britt Daniel commented: "Some of these albums haven't been available on vinyl or CD in years, and in some places they never actually came out.

This remastered video is developed from the original 8mm film. "It's a little glimpse into life in the studio in 2002 during the recording of Kill The Moonlight, filmed by our friend Peter Simonite," Daniel said.

Telephono and Soft Effects EP will be the first available records, coming from 24 July. Pre-order them here.

Reissues of the rest of the records in the series will arrive later this year.
