Oscar Lang has shared a gritty new single. 'Apple Juice' fizzes with Britpop attitude and the promise of a great new EP. Hand Over Your Head will swiftly follow this year's Overthunk.

'Apple Juice' is thick with the excitement of an arcade: guitars run up and down like rock'n'roll fruit machines and backing vocals come to the fore from above on effect-laden tannoys.

There's a soupçon of psychedelia in all of the woozy effects here, lending Lang's vocal an otherwordly layer.

“‘Apple Juice’ counts as two of your five a day. My new EP Hand Over Your Head is the sonic amalgamation of all the music I’ve recorded to date, plus a few tunes that I’ve been sitting on and have been playing for a while" Lang said of the new project. "Getting out of my bedroom studio and playing live with my band influenced these recordings a lot," he added.

On the new EP, Lang aims to recreate the experience of being at a truly sweaty live show.

Hand Over Your Head Tracklist:
