The Spice Girls have confirmed the worst kept secret in pop music – that they are to reform for a world tour.
All five members of the pop supergroup attended a conference at the o2 Arena at midday today to unveil the new officially.
Their tour will kick off in Los Angeles in December and will move on to take in Las Vegas, New York, London, Koln, Madrid, Beijing, Hong Kong, Sydney, Cape Town and Beunos Aires.
The five members last performed together in 1998 when Geri Halliwell quit the group. After a poor performing final album ‘Forever’ in 2000, the four remaining members went their separate ways.
At the moment, apart from the world tour, there is no news of any fresh material from the outfit.
Simon Fuller, the man behind their phenomenal success, is once again masterminding their world tour.
The Spice Girls have sold a massive 55million records worldwide and notched up nine number one singles in the UK alone.
