Interpol showcased a number of new tracks at the Hove Festival tonight (June 28th) off their forthcoming third album, ‘Our Love To Admire.’
During a set filled with their more famous hits, the band also played new single, ‘The Heinrich Maneuver,’ alongside new album tracks, ‘Rest My Chemistry,’ ‘Pioneer To The Falls’ and ‘Mammoth.’
Arriving on the stage with every member decked in all black, it was only the band’s drummer Sam Fogarino who wore a colourfully red shirt.
Preferring to let the music do the talking, the bands only real interaction with the crowd came when lead singer Paul Banks said; “You guys are alright,” before adding to the Norwegian crowd. “And by that I mean you’re fucking great.”
Playing to a capacity amphi-stage audience, the bands set built and built throughout until it reached a climax with a hard hitting rendition of ‘PDA‘.
