Royal Blood returned last night with 'Trouble's Coming' - an adrenaline-spiking new track that announces a forthcoming album. It's the Brighton duo's first new music for three years.

Jolting strobes of sound and a poppy bridge add a dash of disco into Royal Blood's repertoire: now they have all the leather-clad rock'n'roll of their number one albums Royal Blood and How Did We Get So Dark? as well as something tangy and fresh too:

"Although on the surface we were stepping outside what we’d done before, it didn’t feel at all unnatural; it felt like we were returning to music we’d loved from the very beginning: Daft Punk, Justice, things that were really groove-orientated. It was all about the beat" bassist and vocalist Mike Kerr said.

An album will follow in spring 2021.
