More about:

Disco-punk newcomers PVA announce their signing to Ninja Tune imprint Big Dada today. They celebrate with a brand new single titled 'Talks'. There's an EP coming - expect Toner this November.

'Talks' is the eagerly-awaited follow-up to PVA debut 'Divine Intervention', which landed via Speedy Wunderground last year. With 'Talks' PVA have leaned into their post-punk influences, the increasingly-insistent vocals spinning out from a funky, bass-heavy centre and staccato disco guitar bit.

Hear the excellent second single:

The tune takes inspiration from Red Dead Redemption and the relationship between the game's central characters John and Abigail Marston. It's "about how we invent games in order to avoid expressing our true feelings or take the risk of being hurt," the band explained.

“We are really over the moon to be joining the Ninja family" they added.

Toner Tracklist:

1. Talks
2. Sleek Form
3. Exhaust / Surroundings
4. Talks (Mura Masa Remix)
5. Talks (Lynks Remix)
6. Exhaust / Surroundings (Girl Band / Daniel Fox Remix)

Toner arrives 20 November via Big Dada.
