More about:

Fontaines D.C. have delivered a gritty version of The Beach Boys' classic 'Wouldn't It Be Nice' as part of a new record presented by Deezer. The covers project InVersions also features a Dream Wife interpretation of Robyn's 'Dancing On My Own'.

Also on the record? Arlo Parks singing in French for a version of 'Ta Reine' Angèle, Orla Gartland taking on the Sinead O'Connor version of 'Nothing Compares 2 U' and Alfie Templeman doing his best Tears For Fears on 'Everybody Wants To Rule The World'.

"Covering a Beach Boys song has always been a scary thing considering the genius arrangements" Fontaines D.C. said of their cover, "but it was always something quite intriguing and especially when we thought about it from the point of view of subverting the light-heartedness that they conveyed most of the time."
