Some of London's coolest alternative acts have teamed up to create Solidarity Tapes. Volume 1, which is out now, features songs by Big Joanie, Speedy Wunderground's Dan Carey, Goat Girl, PVA and more. The DIY cultural project aims to raise money for grassroots organisations fighting injustice.

Sales of the compilation will go towards work for migrant, racial, social and climate causes.

We have curated an eclectic mix of musicians that is not limited to a specific genre, we hope there is something here for everyone with jazz, post-punk, experimental hip-hop, dream pop, post-hardcore, math-rock, ethereal electronics, art-rock  and South American folk!” the project stated.
