Metal princess Poppy has announced a festive EP. A Very Poppy Christmas is confirmed today with lead single 'I Won't Be Home For Christmas', an uncanny but understated track from the hardcore popstar.

Whispered and haunting, 'I Won't Be Home For Christmas' uses mournful keys to soundtrack a gentle pop song about not making it back for the festive season - a situation that is clearly far too real for many of us this year.
Fans will have three further tracks to look forward to: 'I Like Presents', 'Kiss in the Snow' and 'Silver Bells', which will all arrive in the A Very Poppy Christmas package on 1 December.
It's been a busy 2020 for Poppy, who released I Disagree back at the beginning of the year and followed it up with a deluxe issue in August. That, and she released the very excellent metal-tinged cover of queer classic 'All The Things She Said'.
A Very Poppy Christmas EP Tracklist:
1. I Like Presents
2. I Won't Be Home For Christmas
3. Kiss in the Snow
4. Silver Bells
A Very Poppy Christmas arrives 1 December via Sumerian Records.
