One of 2020's indie heroes Willie J Healey has shared a Christmas song, simply titled 'Merry Christmas'. It's out today via Yala! and follows summer's album Twin Heavy - a record we called "outstanding."

On 'Merry Christmas', Healey exorcises the demons of Christmasses past with a tone and melody that recalls classics by Paul McCartney and John Lennon. Shot in New York, the twin video is a behind-the-scenes jaunt through the Christmassiest place on earth - New York City.

"I’ve always loved Christmas. I wanted to write a song for all of the hard working parents out there, working tirelessly to provide without glory or merit" Healey said.
