One of our 21 for 2021 alumna, Black Country, New Road have aired their brand new single 'Track X' today, the final preview of their debut album For the first time, which is out in February on Ninja Tune.

A cinematic build of the collective's many instruments soundtrack the band's first contemplative piece of work. Stream of consciousness as we're used to from the group, this time BC,NR turn truly inwards for this contemplative retreat from the sonix assault they have previously waged. "I told you I loved you in front of black midi" sings vocalist Isaac Wood.

Wood said of the cut: "Track X is a song we first worked on in 2018 but one that never made it out into our live performances. We decided to resurrect it during the recording of For the first time and assemble it in the studio. The story is old but a good one and worth telling. We believe that people will enjoy singing along."
