More about:

Dublin singer-songwriter and producer Orla Gartland has shared a very relatable new single. Titled 'More Like You' it's a contemplative indie slice that deals with issues of self-hatred and insecurity.

"Please don't be so perfect right in front of me" Gartland sings, "tell me how to be more like you." Through computerised percussion, Orla connects with some of the modern day's most poignant and pressing insecurities.

Hear it and know you're not alone:

The single is another piece of a forthcoming, as yet untitled debut album.

"Everyone compares themselves to other people right? If you don't tell me your secret. 'More Like You' was born from a petty friend jealousy I have for my best friend's other best friend. She's someone who I only ever heard good things about, someone I wanted to hate until I met her and - of course - I didn't. I loved her.
