Krautrock post-punks Squid have finally announced news of a debut album. Bright Green Field was announced last night with a brand new single - 'Narrator' features Martha Sky Murphy and will be track three on the record.

Reacquaint yourself with the motorik riffs of this Brighton band - as well as the demented yells of frontman Ollie Judge:

The album will reportedly make great use of field recordings - bees buzzing, church bells ringing - hence the name. Black Country, New Road and Emma-Jean Thackray will feature in the guise of string musicians.

This album has created an imaginary cityscape,” Judge explained, “the tracks illustrate the places, events and architecture that exist within it."
