Wow - big time newness today in the form of Nigerian-Canadian artist DEBBY FRIDAY and her latest single 'RUNNIN'. A mash-up of influence, it's a basement dance rap track made for strobe lighting.

Matched with a trippy video shot on 35mm, the track is a true special original: the experimental, creeping introduction soon melts into a tweaking synth and louche rap. 

The track follows 2019's sophomore EP DEATH DRIVE. Another EP - BITCHPUNK - arrived in 2018. 'RUNNIN' is FRIDAY's first studio outing, her previous songs all having been produced in her own bedroom.

"“RUNNIN’” is a cheeky song that has DEBBY FRIDAY themes present, but now I’m having so much more fun" she offers.
