Canada's Softcult have released their second ever single: 'Uzumaki' is a beautiful emo-inspired dream-pop track that highlights the feelings that arise following a traumatic experience. The song announces a debut EP: Year of the Rat drops in April.

A music video showing Softcult's twins Phoenix and Mercedes Arn Horn hanging out at night add to the themes on show: "we wanted the video to make a clear statement about the issue of abuse and assault, so we filmed in locations late at night where women generally feel the most unsafe."
The song itself is a beautiful crescendo that flits between anger and despondency. It follows this year's debut 'Another Bish'.
