A genre soup crawling with synth
After blowing the heads off the music industry with their debut track 'HEAVY METAL' last month, Paris Texas are back today with another beguiling genre soup titled 'SITUATIONS'.
More understated than their first, 'SITUATIONS' is a creeping affair crawling with synths and a bouncing bassline that doesn't know whether it's coming or going. The duo riff on top of the echoing sonic landscape: "don't wait to take control" they espouse.
A tribute to early aughts video games comes in the form of a matching visualiser:
