Following today's announcement that she has won the coveted BRITs Rising Star Award, the multi-talented Griff has announced her brand new mixtape, One Foot In Front Of The Other, set for release 11 June. Griff has also announced that tickets for her first ever UK & Ireland tour will be on sale 26 March, with early access available when you pre-order the mixtape.

One Foot In Front Of The Other will be a celebration of Griff’s DIY attitude that has secured her the title of Rising Star. She wrote the collection of songs in lockdown, and produced the majority of the mixtape herself. She describes the process of making the mixtape:

"It’s been weird making music in this time, not really experiencing real life, but I think what’s come out of feeling so uncertain about the future is knowing that all you can do is take another step."

I’ve also produced the majority of this mixtape – I heard a stat that 2% of music producers are women, and so it feels important that as a young female in the music industry I should empower myself and continue to properly do it. It was challenging, but I hope in doing so One Foot In Front of The Other feels like a raw, emotional and unpolished body of work.”

Griff has been making waves since she started making her music, even catching the attention of her hero Taylor Swift. She recently shared 'Black Hole', which will appear on the tape.
