Feminist icon and musician Peaches has shared her new track titled ‘Pussy Mask’ and an animated music video to go with it. Whatever you’re expecting, guess again.

Mixing electronic and punk sounds, ‘Pussy Mask’ is ‘WAP’s edgy cousin. With clever lyrics and a music video starring an animated AOC, RBG and Anthony Fauci partying with a cartoon vagina, there’s not much more you could ask for here.

As well as being a celebration of female sexuality, ‘Pussy Mask’ brings a little bit of light to the darkness of the pandemic we’re living in.

The musician and producer spoke about the song:

“Because of the pandemic, our collective anxieties unite us more than ever. Even though it may not affect each one of us the same way, we all have similar base concerns. A serious reminder that we are all in this together. I wanted the song to be absurd and fun but also a reflection of our concerns. The humor shines some light into our dark, confusing, and frustrating reality.”

‘Pussy Mask’ challenges the way that female sexuality in popular music, and while Peaches isn’t the first artist to do so, she has definitely put her own spin on it here.
