More about: Royal Blood
As we inch closer and closer to the release of Typhoons (arriving 30 April), Royal Blood have surprised fans with the release of ‘Boilermaker’.
Anyone who has followed the band’s live performances will recognise this as a frequent part of their setlist. Produced by Queens of the Stone Age frontman Josh Homme, ‘Boilermaker’ is a brash reminder of everything that makes Royal Blood great.
Teeming with Royal Blood’s typical distorted bass and pounding drums, ‘Boilermaker’ isn’t here to play, and you can tell why it became such a fan-favourite in their live shows. Mike Kerr described the choice to record a studio version as a “natural decision”, that came early on in the process of making Typhoons.
