Foremost Scottish electronic alchemists CHVRCHES have dropped 'He Said She Said'. Coming three years on from the 2018 album Love Is Dead, the track debuted as Annie Mac's Hottest Record last night. 

Recorded on opposite sides of the Atlantic and lusciously produced, as always, so as to straddle the glitziness of mainstream dance and the grittiness that only CHVRCHES can achieve.

The song has a deep meaning for vocalist Lauren Mayberry: "All the verse lines are tongue-in-cheek or paraphrased versions of things that have actually been said to me by men in my life. Being a woman is fucking exhausting and it felt better to scream it into a pop song than scream it into the void. After the past year, I think we can all relate to feeling like we're losing our minds.”
