Detailing how it feels to never want to stay in one place for too long, Charli Adams' new single 'Seventeen Again' is bleakly hopeful - not quite sad, but it could still reduce you to tears.

After spending some time in London shooting a music video, Charli Adams was shocked to see a message from Novo Amor, someone she’d been a long time fan of, appear on her phone. After exchanging a few messages, Adams went to Cardiff, to visit Novo and create the track she’s shared today, ‘Seventeen Again’.

Capturing the rustic feeling of wanting to pack everything up and move to somewhere completely different, this track has it all. From classic rock-inspired guitar solos to instances of heart wrenching beauty, it’s hard not to be drawn back to this song - I’m on my fifth listen today so it goes.

On the single, Charli has said:

“We (Charli and Novo Amor) spent the week making ‘Seventeen Again’ and exploring Cardiff. I remember feeling the way that I did when I left home for the first time at seventeen and moved to Nashville, and that was the inspiration behind the song. It’s definitely not in my nature to stay in one place for too long and I find myself fantasizing about moving away far too often. The song follows my familiar thought process of walking around a foreign city imagining what it would be like to never go home”
