Dublin's budding new post-punk group Odd Morris have shared a new single today: their first of the year, 'The Once Was Enough' shows a new, softer side to the band and announces their debut EP Cityscape The Ballet.

A insistent fretted rhythm sees its way through frontman Daragh's lyricism in which he considers an oft-visited question: why does love fail?

Hear it:

"Named after one of the featured tracks, Cityscape The Ballet explores the overwhelming emotions of day-to-day life in the city, that trigger the urge of removing oneself – or escaping – the performance of the everyday" the band said.

“Everyone knows how it feels to feel estranged, everyone has their dark days,” they added. "Part of the process is feeling like you’re the only one, but we’re all more connected than we think."

Cityscape The Ballet arrives later in the year.
