A neat vintage-sounding allegory for Cardiff politics

Welsh purveyors of vibes and vintage, Buzzard Buzzard Buzzard have shared a new single today: the characteristically infectious 'Crescent Man Vs Demoliton Dan'. Prolific as ever, they continue to build up to an eventual album.

"Power to the everyman" frontman Tom Rees sings, using 'Crescent Man' and 'Demolition Dan' as superhero allergories for the destruction of a beloved Cardiff street filled with independent businesses.

On the slick allegory, Rees stated: “There’s a street in Cardiff called Guildford Crescent that was recently demolished to make way for some high-rise monstrosity that left a long line of independent businesses dead and buried...“There’s a street in Cardiff called Guildford Crescent that was recently demolished to make way for some high-rise monstrosity that left a long line of independent businesses dead and buried."
