Fun houses have always had a vaguely threatening aura, and Tally Spear confirms our suspicions today with her dark single 'Fun House'; a Gothic allegory for mental ill health.

Moving from phases of slow dementedness through crunching guitars, Tally combines rock and pop in her new creation, at times sounding awfully like Lady Gaga in her Fame Monster era.

“I wanted to use a metaphor of a 'house' to describe the mind, and build this visual concept of being ‘stuck in a fun house.’ Playing on how something that is meant to be positive can easily turn dark and claustrophobic" Tally explained.
