More about: Beach riot
Brighton’s BEACH RIOT have announced more details of their upcoming debut album, Subatomic Party Cool, which is set for release 17 September on Alcopop! Records. They also have tickets on sale for their rescheduled UK headline tour. BEACH RIOT have also shared ‘Wraith’, the latest single to be taken from the upcoming record.
‘Warith’ is full of fuzzy guitars and soft but biting vocals that are driven forward by super-speed drums and bass guitar. Constantly pushing and pulling between soft and heavy music, ‘Wraith’ is going to be a smash hit on stage later on this year.
Here’s what they said about the single:
“Jonny hits the hi hats so fast on this one that his hands are actually playing 5 seconds in the future compared to the rest of his body. Also it’s a song about your life force being slowly drained away in a fading relationship and there’s nothing you can do about it but watch and brace yourself.”
