Arrest Warrant Issued For Pete Doherty
An arrest warrant has been issued for Pete Doherty this morning (July 3rd) after he failed to show for a court hearing at West London Magistrates Court.
The Babyshambles frontman had been due at the court to enter a plea relating to an arrest on May 5th earlier this year.
Doherty was stopped in his car by officers in central London and arrested on the suspicion of drugs possession.
In April, the singer was praised at a review of his drug treatment order – with District Judge Jane McIvor at Thames Magistrates Court sayign that he was "more than co-operating" in his ongoing drugs battle.
UPDATE: Doherty has arrived in court over two-and-a-half hours late
