UK guitar daddy Johnny Marr has returned with quite a lot of new stuff today. First, there's a new single, 'Spirit Power and Soul'. Second, there's a double album titled Fever Dreams Pts 1-4 on the way. Third, a follow-up (or set-up, depending on when the double album drops) EP titled Fever Dreams Pt 1 drops this October. AND there's a tour happening this September too.

First, to the new single: 'Spirit Power and Soul' is an '80s power bop in the vein of Soft Cell. It's pretty brill:

“Spirit, Power And Soul is a kind of mission statement. I had an idea about an electro sound with gospel feeling, in my own words… an electro soul anthem" Marr said of the track.
